Mackerel en Papillote with Canadian Peas
Delicious and healthy mackerel dish baked in the oven with Canadian peas and herbs. A great way to enjoy the omega-3 rich mackerel with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- β4 mackerel filletsfresh and skin removed
- β1 cup Canadian peasfresh or frozen
- β2 tbsp rich olive oil
- β2 lemon slices
- β1/4 cup fresh parsley
- β2 garlic clovesminced
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β1 bowlfor serving

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Place the mackerel fillets on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Drizzle the olive oil over the mackerel.

5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

6. Place a few Canadian peas on top of each mackerel fillet.

7. Place a lemon slice on top of each mackerel fillet.

8. Sprinkle minced garlic over the mackerel.
