Braised Ukrainian Pork Shoulder Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew made with rich and tender pork shoulder, perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients

- β4 carrots
- β3 potatoes
- β2 onions
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 cups rich beef broth
- β2 tablespoons crisp apple cider vinegar
- β1 tablespoon stew seasoning

Preheat oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and stew seasoning.

Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the pork from the pot and set it aside.

Add the onions and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the carrots and potatoes to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Pour in the beef broth and apple cider vinegar, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.

Return the pork shoulder to the pot and cover with a lid.

Transfer the pot to the preheated oven and braise for 2 1/2 hours, or until the pork is tender and falls apart easily.
