Crispy Duck Breast with Croatian Stir-Fry
A delicious and flavorful dish featuring crispy duck breast paired with a rich and spicy Croatian-style stir-fry.
Ingredients
- ●4 x 120g Duck breast
- ●2 tsp Croatian paprika
- ●2 cloves Garlic
- ●1 large Onion
- ●1 large Bell pepper
- ●2 tbsp Light oil
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Season the duck breast with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat. Sear the duck breast for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and cook for 12-15 minutes or until the duck reaches 63°C (145°F) for medium-rare.

While the duck is cooking, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in a separate pan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes or until they start to soften.

Add the minced garlic and Croatian paprika to the pan and cook for another minute.

Stir-fry the mixture for a further 2-3 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Remove the duck from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
