Crispy Syrian Kebabs
Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, these kebabs are a classic Syrian dish that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Meat (Beef and Lamb)
- β1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- β1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
- β3 cloves minced Garlic
- β1 teaspoon each Spices (Cumin, Coriander, Cardamom)
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, olive oil, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cardamom, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Just before cooking, shape the mixture into small kebabs, about 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) long and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.

Place the kebabs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space between each kebab.

Bake the kebabs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and crispy on the outside.
