German Breaded Schnitzel
A crispy breaded schnitzel dish, typically served with a side of fries. This recipe is a German-inspired twist on the classic dish.
Ingredients

- β1 cup all-purpose flourfor breading
- β2 eggsbeaten for egg wash
- β6 slices streaky baconfor garnish
- β1 cup breaded crumbsfor breading
- β1/2 cup vegetable oilfor frying
- β2 tbsp rich mustardfor serving
Instructions

Season the pork cutlets with salt and pepper.

Dredge the pork cutlets in flour, shaking off any excess.

Dip the floured cutlets in the beaten eggs, making sure they're fully coated.

Roll the egg-coated cutlets in the breaded crumbs, pressing the crumbs onto the meat to ensure they stick.

Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
