Nectarine Tart
A sweet and flaky pastry tart filled with caramelized nectarines, perfect for a warm dessert.

- β2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- β1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract
- β1 Egg, beaten
- β1 tablespoon Confectioners Sugarfor dusting

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out puff pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Transfer the pastry to a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.

In a small bowl, mix together sugar and almond extract.

Arrange the sliced nectarines on the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.

Fold the edges of the pastry up over the nectarines, pressing gently to seal.
