Middle Eastern Semolina Pudding
A creamy and comforting dessert inspired by the flavors of the Middle East.
Ingredients
- β1 cup semolina flour
- β2 cups milk
- β1 cup sugar
- β4 tablespoons unsalted buttermelted
- β1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- β1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- β1 cup rich puddingstore-bought
- β optional: chopped pistachios

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together semolina flour and sugar.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, ground cardamom, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.

Pour the mixture into 6-8 ramekins or small baking dishes.

Place the ramekins in a large baking dish and add hot water to come halfway up the sides.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly jiggly.

Remove the ramekins from the water bath and let cool for 10 minutes.
