Portuguese Shrimp Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Portugal, rich in seafood and spices.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- ●2 tablespoons Rich Fish Sauceoptional
- ●1 pound Portuguese Stew Fish (such as Cod or Haddock)cut into bite-sized pieces
- ●2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor sautéing
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 Red Pepperdiced
- ●2 medium Tomatochopped
- ●1 cup White Winedry

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced red pepper, and sauté until the vegetables are soft.

Add the chopped tomato and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Add the fish sauce, white wine, and stir to combine.

Add the Portuguese stew fish and shrimp, and stir to combine.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
