Vietnamese-Style Cured Ham Pilaf
A flavorful and savory Vietnamese-inspired pilaf dish featuring cured ham and rich, red spices.
Ingredients
- β6 oz Cured Vietnamese Ham
- β2 cups Pilafcooked according to package instructions
- β1 tsp Rich, Red Chili Flakes
- β2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1/4 cup Green Onionschopped
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantrochopped
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Ground Black Pepper
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped green onions and cook until slightly softened, about 2 minutes.

Add the cooked pilaf to the skillet and stir to combine with the onions.

Add the cured Vietnamese ham to the pilaf mixture and stir to combine.

Add the fish sauce, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper to the pilaf mixture and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Transfer the pilaf mixture to a serving dish and garnish with chopped cilantro.
