Savory German Pasta Bake
A hearty, comforting dish that combines the flavors of Germany with the ease of a pasta bake. Rich, savory sauce and a blend of cheeses make this a satisfying meal.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 cups Mushrooms
- β1 can (28 oz) Canned Tomatoes
- β2 cups Beef Broth
- β1 cup Sour Cream
- β1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
- β1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- β1/4 cup chopped Fresh Parsley

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Stir in canned tomatoes, beef broth, and sour cream. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes.
