American Mushroom Casserole
A rich, comforting casserole filled with sautéed mushrooms and topped with a silky, cheesy crust.
Ingredients

- ●1 medium Onion
- ●2 cloves Garlic
- ●2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- ●1 cup Milk
- ●1/2 teaspoon Salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- ●1 (9x13-inch) dish Casserole

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in olive oil until the mushrooms release their liquid and start to brown.

Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Gradually pour in the milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens.
