Smoky Pork Dumplings
A twist on traditional Chinese dumplings with a rich and smoky flavor.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulderground
- β20-25 wrappers Dumpling wrappers
- β1/2 cup Cabbageshredded
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped
- β2 tablespoons Gingergrated
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, grated ginger, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.

2. Lay a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.

3. Dip your finger in a small amount of water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

4. Fold the wrapper into a half-moon shape and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

6. In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

7. When the oil is hot, add the dumplings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.

8. Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a boil.

9. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, until they are cooked through.

10. Serve the smoky pork dumplings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
