Hue Style Pork Bun
A flavorful and spicy Vietnamese dish featuring grilled pork and served in a crispy bun. Inspired by the popular street food from Hue, Vietnam.
Ingredients
- β500g Pork shoulder
- β2 tbsp Vietnamese fish sauceor regular fish sauce
- β2 tbsp Hue style chili paste
- β2 tbsp Lime juice
- β2 cm Gingergrated
- βhandful Cilantrochopped
- β4-6 Bun
- β1 tbsp Rich soy sauce
- β1 tbsp Palm sugar
- β4-6 Bo leavesfresh or dried

1. In a blender or food processor, combine fish sauce, chili paste, lime juice, ginger, and cilantro. Blend until smooth.

2. In a bowl, mix the blended mixture with pork shoulder until well coated.

3. Let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Grill the pork over medium heat until cooked through.

5. Meanwhile, toast the bun on a dry pan or grill.

6. Assemble the bun by spreading the grilled pork, followed by a sprinkle of palm sugar and a few leaves of bo.

7. Drizzle with rich soy sauce and serve immediately.
