Egyptian Gyoza Rolls
A fusion twist on traditional Egyptian cuisine, these rich and velvety gyoza rolls are perfect for a snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β2 large Egg
- β1 package (about 20-24 wrappers) Gyoza wrappers
- β1/2 cup Rich, velvety eggplant spread (e.g. baba ganoush)
- β4-6 Rolls (e.g. pita or flatbread)
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley(optional)
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Place a gyoza wrapper on a flat surface and brush the edges with a little water.

Place a tablespoon of eggplant spread in the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom half of the wrapper up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrapper into a tight cylinder.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Pan-fry the gyoza rolls until they're golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Serve warm with a dollop of eggplant spread and chopped parsley, if desired.
