Mediterranean Lamb Pilaf
A savory, flavorful Italian dish made with richly seasoned lamb and Mediterranean pilaf. This hearty recipe is perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Lamb Shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 package Mediterranean Pilaf Mixincludes orzo, cherry tomatoes, and herbs
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor cooking
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 teaspoon Dried Oreganocrushed
- β1 teaspoon Saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepperto taste

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the lamb and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the lamb to a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the Mediterranean pilaf mix to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Add the cooked pilaf mix to the Dutch oven with the lamb.

Sprinkle the crushed oregano, salt, and black pepper over the top of the lamb and pilaf.

Cover the pot with a lid and transfer to the preheated oven.
