Egyptian Gratin Potatoes
A rich and flavorful side dish inspired by Egyptian cuisine, featuring roasted potatoes in a creamy gratin.

- ● Gratinstore-bought or homemade
- ●2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 teaspoon Dried parsley
- ● Saltto taste

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the roasted potatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the sliced potatoes to the saucepan and toss to coat with the butter and garlic mixture.

Transfer the potato mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle the dried parsley over the potatoes.

If using store-bought gratin, spread it evenly over the potatoes. If making homemade gratin, follow the recipe to layer it on top.
