Crispy Chicken Tacos
A delicious twist on traditional tacos, featuring crispy chicken and a variety of flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Chicken breastsBoneless and skinless
- β2 tablespoons Taco seasoningHomemade or store-bought
- β6-8 Crisp tortillasCorn or flour
- β1 cup, shredded Mexican cheese
- β1 small Diced onionOptional
- β1 small Diced bell pepperOptional

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a shallow dish, mix together taco seasoning and 1 tablespoon of oil.

Dip each chicken breast into the taco seasoning mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Once the chicken is done, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

Assemble the tacos by placing a few slices of chicken onto a tortilla, followed by a sprinkle of cheese, some diced onion and bell pepper (if using), and a dollop of your favorite toppings.
