Ukrainian-Style Italian Sfoglia
A traditional Italian pastry reimagined with Ukrainian flair, featuring a robust and flaky crust.

- β2 tbsp Robust coffeestrong brewed or espresso
- β1 tsp Flaky sea saltoptional
- β2 tbsp Ukrainian honeyhigh-quality, raw honey
- β1 cup Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)mixed or single variety
- β1 cup Heavy creamwhipped or doubled

2. Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch (3 mm).

3. Cut the dough into desired shapes (e.g., triangles, squares, or circles).

4. In a small bowl, mix the robust coffee and flaky sea salt (if using).

5. Brush the pastry shapes with the coffee mixture, leaving a 1/2 inch (1 cm) border around the edges.

6. Bake the pastry for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

7. While the pastry is baking, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

8. In a separate bowl, mix the Ukrainian honey and whipped cream.
