Spicy Korean Noodle Soup
A flavorful and spicy noodle soup made with Korean chili flakes, shiitake mushrooms, and robust noodles.
Ingredients
- β200g robust noodles
- β2 cups shiitake mushrooms
- β2 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Add the robust noodles and cook according to package instructions.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add the shiitake mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown.

Add the Korean chili flakes and stir to combine.

Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the mushrooms and chili flakes.

Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with additional Korean chili flakes if desired.
