Cod in Light German Harira
A German-inspired take on the Moroccan stew, using cod for a seafood twist. This light and flavorful dish is perfect for a casual dinner.
Ingredients
- β500g codfresh and sustainable
- β1 can harirause the Moroccan variety for authentic flavor
- β2 tsp robustadd depth to the harira
- β1 tsp lightbalance out the flavors
- βto taste salt
- β1 tsp moroccanoptional, for extra Moroccan flair
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

Rinse the cod and pat it dry with paper towels.

Season the cod with salt and a pinch of robust.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of light.

Add the cod to the skillet, skin side up, and sear for 2-3 minutes.

Flip the cod over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until cooked through.

While the cod is cooking, heat the harira in a separate saucepan over low heat.

Add the moroccan spice to the harira, if using.

To serve, place the cod on a plate and spoon the harira over the top.
