Vegetarian Vada Pav
A popular Indian street food, this vegetarian vada pav recipe features crispy fried vadas served in a soft, fluffy pav bun.
Ingredients
- β4-6 buns pav
- β2 large potatoes
- β1 package, or homemade vadas vada
- β1 packet yeast (for pav dough) robust
- β2 cups warm water (for pav dough) yeasty
- β2 tablespoons oil (for frying) indian
- βto taste salt

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pav dough ingredients and knead for 10 minutes.

2. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.

3. Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions and shape into buns.

4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan for frying the vadas.

5. Once the oil is hot, add the vadas and fry until golden brown.

6. Assemble the vada pav by placing a fried vada inside a soft pav bun.
