Robust Moroccan Lamb Tagine

Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Lamb shoulderbone-in, cut into 2-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 large Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β2 teaspoons Cumin
- β1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- β1 teaspoon Paprika
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- β1/2 cup Dried pruneschopped

Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Brown the lamb on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion, garlic, and ginger; cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute.

Add the lamb broth, bring to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.
