Hearty German-Style Pork Stew
A rich and flavorful gluten-free stew made with tender pork and a blend of spices. Perfect for a cozy evening meal.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 medium Onion, chopped
- β2 medium Carrots, peeled and chopped
- β2 large Potatoes, peeled and chopped
- β2 cups Beef broth, gluten-free
- β1 cup Red wine, gluten-free
- β2 tablespoons German seasoning, gluten-free
- β Salt and pepper, to taste
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the pork cubes in batches until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes per batch. Remove the pork from the pot and set aside.

Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the browned pork back to the pot, along with the beef broth, red wine, and German seasoning.

Bring the stew to a boil, then cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.
