Tangia Tagine
A traditional Moroccan stew made with a rough, crumbly meat and served over a bed of oats.

Ingredients
- β1 lb rough, crumbly meatsuch as lamb or beef
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp gingerground
- β1 tsp cuminground
- β1 tsp corianderground
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper
- β1 cup oatsuncooked

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper, and cook for 1 minute.

Add rough, crumbly meat and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add oats and enough water to cover the meat and oats.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
