British Toad in the Hole
A classic British dish of sausages cooked in a Yorkshire pudding batter, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
- β4 sausagesBritish-style pork sausages
- β1 cup beef brothgluten-free
- β2 tablespoons all-purpose flouruse gluten-free flour for gluten-free diet
- β2 eggslarge eggs
- β1 cup milkwhole milk
- β2 tablespoons vegetable oilfor greasing the pan

Preheat the oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).

Cook the sausages in a pan over medium heat until browned, then set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, and milk to make the Yorkshire pudding batter.

Add the beef broth to the batter and whisk until smooth.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a 12-cup muffin tin or a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Pour the batter into the muffin tin or baking dish, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Place a cooked sausage in each muffin cup or a few in the baking dish.
