Korean Beef Stir Fry
A quick and flavorful stir fry made with marinated beef, savory vegetables, and a sweet and spicy Korean-inspired sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (sirloin), slicedThinly sliced
- β2 tablespoons Savory soy sauceFor marinating
- β1 teaspoon Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)For spice
- β2 cloves Garlic, mincedFor added flavor
- β1/4 cup Green onions, choppedFor garnish
- β2 tablespoons Stir-fry oilFor cooking
- β1 cup Sliced carrotsFor added crunch
- β1 cup Sliced bell peppersFor added flavor
- β1 tablespoon Korean chili paste (gochujang)For sweet and spicy flavor
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seedsFor garnish

In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chili flakes, and garlic. Add beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat stir-fry oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add beef to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned.

Add carrots and bell peppers to the skillet and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together chili paste and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to the skillet and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Serve beef and vegetables hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
