Traditional British Pasties

- β1 cup Sauerkrautdrained and chopped
- β4-6 British pasties
- β Salt and pepper
- β Sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
- β1 Egg (for egg wash)

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out one of the pasties and place on a baking sheet.

Add 1/4 cup of sauerkraut, 1/4 cup of shredded beef, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper to one half of the pastry.

Fold the other half over the filling and press edges to seal.
