Mini Mexican Savory Tamales
A twist on traditional tamales, these individual-sized Mexican savory tamales are perfect as a snack or appetizer. They can be steamed or baked for a delicious and easy meal.
Ingredients

- ●1/4 cup savorysavory sauce
- ●2 tablespoons silkysilky sauce
- ●1 teaspoon mexicanmexican seasoning
- ●2 cups waterfor steaming

In a large pan, heat the savory sauce and silky sauce over medium heat.

Add the mexican seasoning and stir well.

Bring the sauce to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes.

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sauce mixture, and a pinch of salt.

Mix well until the pasta is well coated.

To assemble the tamales, lay a corn husk flat and spread about 1 tablespoon of the pasta mixture onto the center of the husk.

Fold the sides of the corn husk over the filling and then roll the tamale up.

Repeat with the remaining pasta mixture and corn husks.

To steam the tamales, place them in a steamer basket over boiling water and cover with a lid.
