Grilled Tofu Skewers with Savory Glaze
A keto-friendly Filipino-inspired dish featuring marinated tofu skewers grilled to perfection and served with a savory glaze.
Ingredients
- β14 oz (397g) tofu
- β1/4 cup (60ml) savitoy sauce
- β2 tbsp (30ml) coconut oil
- β10-12 skewers
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β2 cloves garlic
- β2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- βchopped fresh cilantro

1. Cut the tofu into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes and place them in a shallow dish.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together the savory sauce, coconut oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour the marinade over the tofu and toss to coat.

3. Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Brush the olive oil onto the tofu skewers and season with salt and pepper.

5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the tofu skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

6. While the tofu is grilling, prepare the savory glaze by whisking together the savory sauce and coconut oil in a small bowl.
