Savory Empanada Fritters
Crunchy empanada fritters filled with a delicious savory mixture of cheese and herbs. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup spherify savory cheese
- β1/4 cup feta cheese
- β1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- β2 large eggs
- β1 tsp argentinian seasoning
- β1/4 cup water

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, and seasoning.

2. Gradually add water and mix until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.

4. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces.

5. Roll out each piece into a ball and flatten into a disk.

6. Place a spoonful of spherify savory cheese and feta cheese in the center of each disk.

7. Fold the dough in half to form a half-circle and press edges to seal.

8. Heat about 2-3 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
