Portuguese Date Pudding
A rich and creamy dessert with a hint of savory from the tahini paste, inspired by traditional Portuguese custard tarts.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons tahini
- β1 teaspoon savory spice blend savory
- β1 cup heavy cream velvety
- β1/4 cup granulated sugar portuguese
- β2 tablespoons cornstarch paste
- β1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted pudding

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a blender, puree the dates until smooth.

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, granulated sugar, and cornstarch.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and whisk in the tahini paste, savory spice blend, and melted butter.
