Tunisian Coconut Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew made with tender beef and a blend of African spices, served with a side of warm pita bread.

- β2 tablespoons desiccated coconutadds a rich and creamy texture
- β2 teaspoons tunisian spice blenda mix of cumin, coriander, and turmeric
- β1/4 cup savory stir-fry sauceadds a tangy and slightly sweet flavor
- β1 cup velvety coconut milkadds a rich and creamy texture
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup fresh parsleychopped

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Stir in Tunisian spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add savory stir-fry sauce and coconut milk, and stir to combine.

Bring stew to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours, or until beef is tender.
