Norwegian Shattering Balls
A Scandinavian-inspired snack made with roasted Norwegian cheese and served in a crispy bowl.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup, shredded Norwegian cheeseRoasted for a smoky flavor
- ●1 (homemade or store-bought) Bowl, crispyFor serving
- ●1/2 cup, shredded Mozzarella cheeseFor binding
- ●1/4 cup BreadcrumbsOptional
- ●2 tbsp Shattering (such as potato starch or cornstarch)For coating

2. In a bowl, mix together the roasted Norwegian cheese, mozzarella cheese, and breadcrumbs (if using).

3. Add the shattering (such as potato starch or cornstarch) to the cheese mixture and mix until well combined.

4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.

5. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. Bake the balls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy.
