Slovakian Stew
A hearty Slovakian stew made with ground beef and a variety of vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef
- β2 medium Carrots
- β2 large Potatoes
- β1 large Onions
- β2 large Bell Peppers
- β2 large Tomatoes
- β2 cups Beef Broth
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1 teaspoon Paprika
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Remove the browned beef from the pot and set it aside.

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the pot and cook until they are tender.

Add the carrots and potatoes to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add the browned beef back into the pot, along with the beef broth, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

Serve the stew hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
