Smoky Cauliflower Gratin Italiano
A creamy, cheesy Italian-inspired dish featuring smoky, crispy cauliflower gratin.
Ingredients

- β2 tbsp olive oil smokysmoked paprika
- β1 cup grated parmesan cheese gratin
- β1 cup heavy cream british
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp pepper
- β1 tsp dried basil

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Rinse the cauliflower and break into florets. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until the cauliflower is evenly coated.

3. Spread the cauliflower on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.

4. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and garlic. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until the cream has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.

5. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange the roasted cauliflower in an even layer. Pour the cream sauce over the cauliflower.

7. Sprinkle the top with dried basil. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the sauce is bubbly.
