Pork Skewers with Smoky Glaze
A flavor-packed dish of marinated pork skewers smothered in a sweet and smoky glaze.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds pork (shoulder or butt), cut into 1-inch cubesabout 12-15 cubes
- β1/4 cup Filipino-style barbecue saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons soy sauceoptional
- β2 tablespoons brown sugaroptional
- β2 cloves garlic, mincedoptional
- β1 tablespoon smokysmoked paprika or liquid smoke
- β1 cup crumblycrushed crackers or panko breadcrumbs
- β2 tablespoons cooking oilfor brushing skewers

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and smoky.

Add the pork cubes to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.

Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the crumbly crumbs onto both sides of the pork.
