Steamed Chwinamul Paella
A Saudi-inspired dish that combines the flavors of the Arabian Peninsula with the comforting goodness of paella. This recipe is easily prepared in a donabe and steamed to perfection.

- β1 cup Chwinamulcleaned and chopped
- β2 cups Donabe riceshort-grain rice
- β2 tsp Smoky spicesdried herbs and smoked paprika
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oilfor donabe
- β1 tsp Saltto taste
- β1/2 tsp Black pepperto taste

Instructions

Rinse the donabe and heat the vegetable oil in it over medium heat.

Add the smoky spices and stir for 1 minute.

Add the chopped chwinamul and cook until tender.

Add the donabe rice and stir to combine.

Add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Cover the donabe with a lid and transfer to a steamer.

Steam for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
