Croatian Shrimp Fritters
Delicious and crispy fritters filled with shrimp and spices, perfect for a quick snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- β1 cup Breadcrumbsplain
- β1 medium Onionfinely chopped
- β1 large Eggbeaten
- β2 teaspoons Croatian Paprikasmoked
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- β1 cup All-purpose Flourfor dusting

In a large bowl, combine shrimp, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Using a spoon, drop the shrimp mixture into the oil, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet.

Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Drain the fritters on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Dust the fritters with flour before frying for an extra crispy coating.
