Pistachio Italian Fritters
Crispy, cheesy fritters infused with the flavor of pistachio and Italian seasonings. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 cup pistachio meal
- β1/2 cup italian breadcrumbs
- β1/4 cup parmesan cheesegrated
- β1/4 cup smoky mozzarella cheesecrumbly
- β1 egg
- β1 tsp italian seasoningsdried
- β1 cup fry oil

1. In a large bowl, mix together pistachio meal, italian breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and smoky mozzarella cheese.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix with italian seasonings.

3. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

4. Heat the fry oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F.

5. Using a spoon, drop small balls of the dough into the hot oil.

6. Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

7. Remove the fritters from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
