Smoky Japanese Kombu Soup

- β2 tbsp Smokysmoked paprika
- β2 tsp Dashi powder Japanese soup base
- β2 tbsp Miso pastewhite miso
- β2 tbsp Soy saucelow-sodium
- β1 tbsp Sesame oilfor serving
- β1/2 cup Green onionsthinly sliced
- β1 tsp Sesame seedsfor garnish
- β4 cups Waterfor broth

Combine kombu, dashi powder, and water in a large pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.

Cook for 10 minutes, or until kombu is tender.

Strain broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pot, discarding kombu.
