Japanese-Style Smoked Pork Roast
A fusion of Japanese and traditional flavors, this dish offers a unique twist on a classic roast. The smoky flavor of the pork pairs perfectly with the subtle notes of soy sauce and sake.
Ingredients

- ●1/4 cup Sake
- ●2 tbsp Soy sauce
- ●2 tbsp Brown sugar
- ●2 inches Ginger, sliced
- ●2 cloves Garlic, minced
- ●1/4 cup Green onions, chopped
- ●2 tbsp Sesame oil

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together sake, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic.

Rub the mixture all over the smoked pork roast, making sure to coat it evenly.

Place the roast in a roasting pan and put it in the oven.

Roast for 20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
