Smoky Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Black Olives
Grilled chicken with a spicy jerk seasoning and served with sautéed black olives. A perfect fusion of smoky and Caribbean flavors.
Ingredients

- ●2 tbsp smoky jerk seasoning
- ●1 tsp light brown sugar
- ●1 cup black olives
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
- ●1 tsp jamaican allspice
- ●1 tsp garlic powder
- ●1 tsp salt
- ●1 tsp black pepper

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, mix together jerk seasoning, brown sugar, allspice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts.

Grill the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the black olives to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to soften.

Once the chicken is done, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
