Spicy Smoky Vegan Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy vegan stir fry made with smoky tofu, served with steamed vegetables and a side of whole grain rice.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) smoky tofudrained and cut into bite-sized pieces
- β2 tbsp mexican stir fry saucemake sure it's vegan
- β1 cup brown ricecooked according to package instructions
- β1 bell peppersliced into thin strips
- β1 onionsliced into thin strips
- β1 bunch broccolisteamed until tender
- β1 tbsp soy saucemake sure it's vegan
- β1 tsp garlic powderoptional
- β1 tsp red pepper flakesoptional for extra heat
- βto taste saltoptional
Instructions

Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the bell pepper and onion and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the broccoli and cook until it's tender, about 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the mexican stir fry sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

Pour the sauce over the vegetables and tofu, and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Serve the stir fry over brown rice and enjoy!
