Slovakian Smoky Stir-Fry
A flavorful stir-fry dish inspired by Slovakian cuisine, with smoky notes from the bacon and a crunchy texture from the nuts.
Ingredients
- β6 slices Smoked baconthinly sliced
- β1 cup Mixed vegetablessuch as bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms
- β1 cup Slovakian nut rollschopped
- β2 cups Riceuncooked
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceor to taste
- β1 tbsp Olive oilfor cooking
- β Salt and pepperto taste
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleychopped

Cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.

Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.

Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the cooked bacon back into the pan, along with the soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
