Smoky Chicken Tikka Masala
A popular Indian dish made with marinated chicken in a rich and creamy tomato sauce. Serve over basmati rice for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds chicken breastboneless and skinless
- β2 teaspoons smoky paprikaadds smoky flavor
- β1/4 cup olive oilfor marinating
- β1 teaspoon egyptian cuminground
- β2 cups tomato pureecanned
- β1 large stir-fry onionschopped
- β1/4 cup fry chopped cilantrofor garnish

1. In a blender or food processor, combine smoky paprika, cumin, and olive oil to make a marinade.

2. Add the marinade to the chicken and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook until browned on both sides.

5. Add the tomato puree and stir-fry onions to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens.
