Smoked Meat Paella
A hearty Spanish-inspired one-pot dish featuring smoky, roasted, and smoked flavors from Brazilian-style smoked meat.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Brazilian Smoked Meatpre-cooked
- β2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- β1, diced Roasted Red Bell Pepper
- β1 pound, sliced Smoked Chorizo Sausage
- β1 cup Canned Tomatoes
- β1 cup Uncooked White Rice
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor cooking
- βto taste Salt and Pepper
- βchopped, for garnish Fresh Cilantro

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced chorizo sausage and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the diced red bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Brazilian smoked meat and cook until heated through.

Add the uncooked white rice and stir to coat with oil and mix with other ingredients.

Add the canned tomatoes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
