Filipino Smoky Potato Dumplings
A twist on traditional Filipino adobo with smoky potatoes and served in a dumpling. This dish combines flavors from Filipino cuisine with the comfort of a potato dumpling.
Ingredients
- β2 medium Potatoespeeled and diced
- β4-6 Savory Dumpling Wrappers
- β2 tablespoons Filipino Adobo Spices
- β1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- β1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- β1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- βto taste Salt
- βas needed Water

Boil a large pot of water and add a tablespoon of salt.

Cook the potatoes in the boiling water for 10-12 minutes, or until they're tender.

Drain the potatoes and mash them in a large bowl.

Add the savory dumpling wrappers, adobo spices, soy sauce, rice vinegar, smoked paprika, and salt to the bowl.

Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces.

Shape each piece into a ball and then flatten it slightly into a disk.

Place a tablespoon of water on one half of the disk and fold the other half over to form a half-moon shape.

Press the edges together to seal the dumpling.
