Stuffed Grape Leaves
A traditional Greek dish made with grape leaves stuffed with a delicious mixture of rice, meat, and spices.
Ingredients
- β12-15 leaves Grape leaves (whole)
- β1 cup Smoky ricecooked
- β1 cup Stuffed grape leaveschopped
- β1 lb Ground lambcooked
- β1 tsp Greek seasoningoptional
- βto taste Salt
Instructions

Rinse the grape leaves and remove the stems.

Combine the cooked rice, chopped stuffed grape leaves, ground lamb, and Greek seasoning in a bowl.

Mix well and season with salt to taste.

Place a grape leaf on a flat surface, with the stem end facing you.

Place a tablespoon of the rice mixture in the center of the leaf.

Fold the stem end over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the leaf into a neat package.

Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and filling.

Place the stuffed grape leaves seam-side down in a large saucepan or Dutch oven.

Add enough water to the saucepan to cover the leaves.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes, or until the leaves are tender.
