Spicy Venezualan Bowtie Pasta
A spicy twist on the classic Venezualan pasta dish. This recipe combines the bold flavors of the Venezualan cuisine with the comfort of a classic bowtie pasta.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Bowtie pastapreferably Venezualan-made
- β1/2 cup Spicy venezuelan saucestore-bought or homemade
- β4 slices Smoky chorizooptional, for added heat
- β1/4 cup Chopped cilantrofor garnish
- β1/4 cup Red oniondiced, for garnish
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor cooking
- βto taste Saltoptional
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the diced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the sliced chorizo and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until browned.

Add the spicy venezuelan sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
