Smoky Tofu Bowl
A flavorful and nutritious bowl filled with smoky tofu, crispy vegetables, and a hint of Venezuelan spices.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) Extra-firm tofuDrained and cut into cubes
- β2 tsp Smoky seasoning blendAvailable at most grocery stores or online
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor cooking
- β1 medium Red onionThinly sliced
- β1 medium Bell pepperThinly sliced
- β1/4 cup CilantroChopped
- β2 tbsp Lime juiceFreshly squeezed
- βto taste Salt and pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, smoky seasoning blend, salt, and pepper.

3. Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and toss to coat.

4. Spread the tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Roast the tofu in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

6. While the tofu is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

7. Add the sliced red onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender.

8. Stir in the chopped cilantro and cook for 1 minute.

9. To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked vegetables among four bowls.
